Jonah
Old Testament

Jonah

Jonah is presented here as a story of resistance, storm, surrender, deep prayer, reluctant obedience, and the uncomfortable reach of divine mercy. This album follows the prophet through fear, collapse, bitterness, and the final question that hangs over the book: whether mercy belongs only to us, or also to those we would rather see judged.

The album’s sonic identity is blues-rooted, sea-worn, and restless, built from gritty electric guitar, slide guitar, harmonica, worn piano, dark organ, restrained fiddle, hand percussion, stomps, and live-feel drums. Its sound moves through dark prophetic blues rock, storm blues, primitive folk-blues, blues noir, sacred lament, dirty blues, piano blues, and a fiery fiddle-led warning track.
